How Impact Agent works

Impact Agent is built around a repeatable workflow: configure once, gather evidence, draft an update, then review and save it.

1) Configure your update rules

Set the time window and what “relevant” means for you: projects, keywords, stakeholders, and the cadence you report on.

2) Evidence gathering (cross-source)

Impact Agent uses Microsoft Graph (within your permissions) to find work evidence across the sources you care about—email, meetings, chat, and files—then de-duplicates and ranks it.

3) Draft a manager-ready update

It produces a consistent structure focused on outcomes and impact (not just activity) and can prompt you for missing metrics or context when needed.

4) Review, edit, and send

You stay in control: edit wording, remove items, and decide how you want to share the update.

5) Saved to OneDrive as a running journal

Updates are saved as normal files in your OneDrive, making them easy to find later and useful for performance reviews and promotion packets.
